Technical School

This school is designed for personnel who understand the compression process and who are responsible for sizing and designing reciprocating or rotary screw compression equipment. Comprehensive instruction of the Ariel Performance software will be conducted and students should bring actual field conditions to the class. This school will emphasize compressor components, applications, operational guidelines, and limits. Please bring your laptop computer for hands on instruction with the Ariel Performance Software. Attendance at this school meets the requirement for attendance at the Compressor Mechanics School. In addition, this course counts as 28 PDH (Professional Development Hours).

Classroom discussion will cover bolting, capacity controls, lubrication, valves, packings and rings, cylinder design, and Packagers Standards. Ariel staff, who are experts in their field, share in the instruction of the Technical School. Students will tour our manufacturing facilities, assembly areas and the Research & Development Lab. All coursework materials and a copy of the Ariel Performance software are provided. Class limited to 30 students.

Ariel product training is available exclusively for Ariel customers and their employees--Ariel Distributors, Ariel Packagers, and Ariel End Users who own, lease, and service Ariel equipment. Ariel Corporation does not charge a fee for training held at our manufacturing facility in Mount Vernon, Ohio. 

This school runs four and a half days, Monday – Thursday 8 am-4:30 pm; and Friday 8 am-11 am ET. To receive Ariel's "Certificate of Participation" and 28 PDH credit, students must attend the full four and one-half day session. Course dates are subject to change.
