Acid Gas Injection

Acid Gas Injection application is used when compressing acid-gas streams consisting primarily of two gases: hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and carbon dioxide (CO2 ). These two gases are commonly generated as a by-product of the gas sweetening process. This process is used to bring produced gases and solution gases to meet pipeline specifications for sales and transporting. The depleted oil is injected into gas reservoirs where the acid gases are disposed and enhances the process of oil recovery.
